The doll will take the features of the most famous Indian actress

The Mattel is going to produce a Barbie looking like the Aishwarya Rai, former Miss World, the most famous actress of Bollywood, known also internationally and soon in theaters with “The Pink Panther 2″. The Indian press writes and blogs for information on Bollywood, taking news sources from London.
Representatives from Rai met with the heads of Mattel in deciding the implementation of the doll and its design. The Barbie-Aishwarya should have green eyes like the actress and be dressed in Indian clothes designed by the most important designers from the subcontinent. The classic Barbie, even in the version with the Indian sari, is already sold in India.
Aishwarya Rai is not the first woman to have their own Barbie: In the past even Diana Ross, Cher, Beyonce, Elizabeth Taylor and others have been taken as a model for the most famous doll in the world.
Rai, former miss world trentaseienne in 1994, after dozens of Bollywood films hailed as successes in their homeland, became internationally famous in the film “Wedding and Prejudices” in 2004. indian clips
